Private Line has been upgraded to give you more options when using the system.

What You Can Do

Day or night, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Private Line is a confidential, easy way to conduct your financial transactions, all at no charge.




Helpful Hints:

-
Pressing # after each entry will expedite the call.

Use * as a decimal point.

Say "goodbye" to end the call and get a reference number.
-The system asks what type of account: savings, or checking or money market, etc. instead of suffix number.  If you have more than one suffix of this type (for example if you have a regular savings, reserve savings, holiday saving) it will also request the suffix number (which can be found on your monthly statement).

How it works:

When the system answers you will be asked what you want to do.


To access your account, simply say “Account” or you may press 1.
To apply for a loan, or credit card, or get loan rates, say “Loans” (or press 2).
For used car pricing from NADA say,
“N-A-D-A " (or press 3);
To hear special offers (when available) say “Promotions” (or press 4);
To take a short survey, say “Survey” (or press 5);
To return to Florida Telco’s main phone menu, say “Credit Union main menu” (or press 6).

From there, you will be prompted to enter your account number and Personal Identification Number (PIN). You may say this out loud – if you are in a private area where no one can overhear you – or you may enter the numbers on your keypad as you did previously. At any time you may use voice or touchtone commands. When using the touchtone commands, pressing the pound (#) sign after each entry will speed the call along, but is not necessary.

Examples of how to use the new system:

To check the balance in your checking account - say Account” (or press 1#), then say or enter your account number (followed by the #), say or enter your PIN (followed by the #) then say  “Account Balance” (or press 1),  say "Checking" (or press 2#). To end the call and get a reference number, say "goodbye."

To make a payment to your Florida Telco credit card: say “Account” (or press 1#), then say or enter your account number (followed by the #), say or enter your PIN (followed by the #) then say  “Transfer Loan or Credit Card Payment” (or press 6#). Follow menu instructions from there. To end the call and get a reference number, say "goodbye."

The same transaction codes you used in the past work with this upgrade. If you know the codes and do not wish to wait to hear the menus, you may enter the code at any time. If you would like to use voice commands, menus will prompt you all along the way. Click here for a list of codes.

New Security Feature. When you change your PIN, the system will disconnect. You will need to call back using the new PIN.

Note: Voice commands may not be recognized if you are on a speakerphone or there is background noise.
