How do I set up my accounts at Florida Telco in Microsoft® Money?
How do I
transfer money between my accounts using Microsoft®
Money?
Q. What is Microsoft®
Money?
A. Microsoft® Money is a complete personal
finance solution. It helps you quickly and easily manage your
personal finances, balance your checkbook, bank online, create
a budget, reduce debt, transfer money online, and more!
Q. What do I need before setting up
Microsoft® Money to connect to Florida Telco CU from my
personal computer.
A. You will need Microsoft Money 2000 or above
and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher with 128-bit
encryption installed on your personal computer, your account
number and PIN from Private PC, and an Internet connection.
Q. How do I set up my accounts at Florida Telco in
Microsoft Money?
A. Follow these steps. Please refer to Money's
Help for more detailed information.
1. Open your Microsoft Money program. Click on the word "Tool"
then click on "Update Internet Information". This will update
your copy of Microsoft Money software with Florida Telco CU's
online services.
2. Now click on the word "Accounts", then "Set up Accounts",
and finally "Add a new account".
3. In the "This Account is Held at" box, type "Florida Telco"
and click Next.
4. On the next screen it should select "Florida Telco CU" so
just click Next.
5. On the next screen it asks "Did Florida Telco give you
online signup information?". Click "Yes" and then click the
Next button.
6. At the "User ID" and "Password" prompts input your "Account
Number" and "PIN" used for Private PC. Click the Next
button.
7. Money will then prompt you with a suggested name for the
account, for example "Florida Telco share draft". If you only
have one savings or share draft account, you can use the
suggested name. If you have several savings and share draft
accounts, it is suggested that you add the suffix number to the
end of the name. For example, "Florida Telco share draft-2".
Your accounts can be renamed at a later time. Now click
Next.
8. On the Online Set up screen finally click the Finish
button.
Now that you have your accounts set up here, is how to download
your history:
1. Click on the word "Accounts", then "Get online
statements".
2. Next click the "Connect to all" button.
3. Now input your PIN from Private PC and click the "Connect"
button.
4. After your history has been downloaded click the "close"
button.
Q. I noticed you can pay bills through
Microsoft® Money. Is this the same Billpayer service as in
Private PC?
A. No. Microsoft® Money uses a national
independent bill payment service (third party such as
Transpoint or Check Free). The billpayer service in Private PC
DOES NOT integrate with Microsoft Money. If you choose to use
Microsoft Money's Bill Payment service, please be aware of
their independent associated charges. Additionally, any
problems encountered with this service would need to be handled
by Microsoft Money's bill payment service and not Florida Telco
CU.
Q. Where can I find more information on
Microsoft® Money?
A. Visit the Microsoft® Money website http://www.microsoft.com/money
Q. Where can I buy Microsoft®
Money?
A. You can buy Microsoft® Money from most
retailers that sell Microsoft software. You can also buy it
from some online internet sites (for example, http://www.outpost.com/). You
can also download a 90 day free trial version of Microsoft
Money at http://www.microsoft.com/money/dlxtrial/dlxtrial.htm .
